Cappel, Jarding exchange vows

McCOOK, Nebraska -- Sara Richelle Cappel and Mark Edward Jarding, both of Goodyear, Arizona, were united in marriage, Dec. 18, 2009, at St. Patricks Catholic Church in McCook, with Monsignor Raymond Hain of Lincoln officiating assisted by the Rev. Gary Brethour, pastor of St. Patricks. John Rutten of St. Paul, Minnesota, served as the Acolyte and altar servers were nephew of the bride, Bryson Kool and cousin of the bride, Cade Cappel, both of McCook.

Parents of the couple are Dick and Kathie Cappel of McCook and Jim and Margaret Jarding of Sioux Falls, South Dakota. Grandparents of the bride are Lorna Trupp of McCook, the late Raymond and Elsie Trupp, the late Glen and Loretta Cappel, and the late Marcellus and Emma Joyce. Grandparents of the bridegroom are James and Edith Jarding of Humboldt, South Dakota and the late Edward and Josephine Callaghan.

Sisters of the bride, Jennifer Kool of McCook and Kelsie Sather of Aberdeen, South Dakota, were the matrons of honor. Bridesmaids were Amanda Peterson of McCook, Jen Kaminski of Wahoo, Staci Anderson of Pierce, cousin of the bride, Katie Sughroue of Goodyear and niece of the bride, Bailey Kool of McCook. The bride's personal attendant was sister-in-law of the bride, Andrea Cappel of McCook.

John Goraj of Los Angeles, California, and Michael Donnelly of Sioux Falls, were the best men. Bridegroomsmen were brothers of the bridegroom, Matt Jarding and John Jarding of Sioux Falls, Tom Jarding of Mitchell, South Dakota, and Brian Rand and Tom Cogley, both of Sioux Falls.

Flower girls were nieces of the bride, Grace and Emma Cappel of McCook and Becca Sather of Aberdeen. The ring bearers were nephews of the bride, Sam Sather of Aberdeen, Brayden Kool and Grant Cappel of McCook, and Ashton Carpenter of Lincoln.

Ushers were brothers of the bride, Todd Cappel and Josh Cappel of McCook, and brothers-in-law of the bride, Mark Kool of McCook and Paul Sather of Aberdeen.

The alter candles were lit by Bryson Kool.

Music was provided by pianist Sally Loescher of McCook and vocalists Brittney Garner of Broomfield, Colorado, cousin of the bride, and Jayson Isiderio of El Mirage, Arizona.

Guest book attendants were Michelle Dirks of Vermillion, South Dakota, and cousin of the bride, Leah Sughroue of Kansas City, Missouri. Program attendants were Drew and Sara Peterson of McCook.

A dinner and dance reception followed at the Red Willow Community Building coordinated by cousin of the bride, Suzette Allen, of Scottsdale, Arizona, and was hosted by Steve and Shari Haag, and cousins of the bride Don and Colleen Olson of McCook, Mike and Mary Anne Sughroue of North Platte, and godparents of the bridegroom Doug and Peggy Fischer of Parkston, South Dakota. Gift attendants were cousin of the bridegroom, Becky Jarding, and Liz Haag. Cake table attendants were aunts of the bride, Karen Allen of Broomfield, Colorado, and Patty Zimmerman of McCook; and aunts of the bridegroom Brenda Jarding of Sioux Falls and Jackie Jarding of Humboldt, South Dakota. Members of Fatima Circle of St. Patrick's Church were reception assistants.

The bride is a 2000 graduate of McCook High School, a 2005 graduate of Wayne State College, and a 2010 graduate of Northern Arizona University with a Masters in school counseling. She will be employed this fall as a K-8 guidance counselor in Buckeye, Arizona.

The bridegroom is a 2002 graduate of O'Gorman High School in Sioux Falls and is employed by the United States Air Force as a contracting specialist. He is stationed at Luke Air Force Base in Glendale, Arizona.

The couple honeymooned on Waikiki Beach in Honolulu, Hawaii, and are making their home in Goodyear.
