In donating its $10,000 gift, Parker Hannifin will be recognized and named on gymnasium seating and parking spaces. MCC's Events Center will replace the function of True Hall, providing competition and auxiliary practice gyms, cardiovascular, aerobics and weight training areas, create 210 off-street parking spaces to accommodate the Events Center as well as Weiland Field, and offer multi-functional space to support college, community, and public service activities, programs, meetings, and conferences. Parker Hannifin's generous support brings cash and pledge totals to more than $8.04 million of the project's $10 million goal.

A new events center will bring more people to McCook for music, art, drama and yes athletic activities. Hopefully the new building will attract additional students to MCC. This is a very positive and long needed addition to Nebraska's oldest community colleg, McCook Community College. Thanks to Paker Hannifin and to all the other business, organizations and individuals who are working to make this dream a reality. Many good things are happening right here in our backyard.
