WILLISTON, Florida -- Louise Jennette Berry Pycha, 99, died Tuesday (June 15, 2010) at the WIlliston Health Care Center.

She was born on June 16, 1910, in Tescott, Kansas, to the late Edward and Birdie Berry. At the age of two, her family moved to New Mexico. When she was eight, her family took a covered wagon to Burkburnett, Texas, and later moved to Palacious, Texas.

She graduated from high school and attended college in New Mexico. She moved to Colorado with her mother and married Arthur Pinnick who died before their son, David, was born.

She supported her son during the depression as a seamstress. She met and later married Charles Pycha to which two daughters were born.

She and Charles moved to Nebraska in the early 70s and then to Florida in 1983 with her daughters.

She was preceded in death by two brothers, William and Maurice; son, David; husbands; grandson, Andrew Hayen; dearest friend, Velma Pycha; nephews, Harold Tines and Elmo Sughroue; niece, Betty (Sughroue) ten Bensel.

She is survived by her two daughters, Joyce and husband, Robert Hayen Sr., and Jean Pycha; a special son, Darrell and wife, Kay Berry; four grandsons, Robert Hayden Jr., Seth Ray, Jared Ray, Ronald Kempf; two great-grandchildren; nieces, Lucille Tines Kooper, Susanna Sughroue Gallatin, and Beverly Pycha Smith; and many relatives and friends.
