She managed the kitchen at the Cambridge Heritage Plaza for several years where residents enjoyed excellent home cooking. She spent many hours attending events for her children and grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Chub and Irma Dillan. She leaves to mourn her five children and their spouses, Sue & Kevin Orvis (Hebron); Marcia Holliday (Iola, Kansas); Dan Mowry (Cambridge) and Carla Mowry (Bartley); Daren and Lorrie Mowry (Cambridge); and Dave and Teresha Mowry (Lincoln).

She is lovingly remembered by 13 surviving grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren, Tyler and Jennifer Orvis (Plattsmouth), Tracie and Brett Beavers and Anthony, Jacob, and Owen (Carleton), Tara and Neal Voss and Tobby (Ohiowa), Mandy and Dan Matney and Skyler, Nathan and Rylan (Springfield, Missouri), Angie Holliday (Germany), Michael Holliday (Grand Island), Tanner and Danielle Mowry and Hailey (McCook), Brock and Tosha Mowry (Cambridge), Alysia Mowry and Dillon Mowry (Bartley), Hunter Mowry and Megan Mowry (Cambridge) and Brianna Mowry (Lincoln).
