Shalee Roundtree of Parks and Ben Peters of Worms announce their engagement and upcoming wedding.

Parents of the couple are Tom and Julie Roundtree of Parks and Mike and Sherry Peters of Worms. Grandparents of the bride-to-be are Edith Roundtree of Benkelman and Bob and Beverly Hansen of Sun City West, Arizona. Grandparents of the prospective bridegroom are Billie and Anita Peters of Worms and Larry and Eunice Hansen of Hampton.

The bride-to-be graduated in 2008 from Dundy County-Stratton High School. In 2010 she received an associate's degree in radio/television broadcast from Colby Community College at Colby, Kansas. She is an agriculture broadcaster for KXXX and Rockin M radio.

The prospective bridegroom is a 2004 graduate of Heartland Lutheran High School. He earned an associate's degree in agricultural occupations from Central Community College-Hastings. In 2009, he received a bachelor's degree in English from Concordia University at Seward. He is working with his dad and grandpa on the family farming operation.

A July 17, 2010, wedding is scheduled at Benkelman United Methodist Church in Benkelman. The couple will reside in the rural Worms/Chapman area.
