Councilman injured, council changes meeting site

McCOOK, Nebraska -- Beginning May 3, the McCook City Council will conduct its public meetings at the Heritage Senior Center, 1312 W. Fifth.

The change was made necessary because one of the councilman has suffered an injury and is unable to negotiate the stairs into the regular meeting room.

Another good reason to have a new city office building as the current one is not handicapped friendly.
