McCOOK, Nebraska -- Allen Thomas Dold, age 60, died Monday (April 19, 2010) at McCook Community Hospital.
He was born in McCook to Manford H. and Irene E. (Timbrel) Dold on March 25, 1950. He graduated from Hayes Center High School in 1969. He attended the University of Nebraska School of Technical Agriculture in Curtis and earned an Associate in mechanics.
He married Teresa "Teri" Jolene Voycheske on Sept. 5, 1976, in Chadron. To this union two children were born, Dustin and Kaylia.
He attended the Nazarene Church in McCook, he was a member of the McCook Elks Lodge and the Pawnee Free Trappers. He enjoyed hunting, cooking BBQ, gardening, bead work, camping, fishing and, most of all, spending time with family.
He worked for the Nebraska Department of Roads for more than 25 years.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and a granddaughter, Chloe.
He is survived by his wife, Teri; son, Dustin Dold and wife, Stacie; daughter, Kaylia M. Dold; brother, Howard Dold and wife, Patricia all of McCook; mother-in-law, Neva Voycheske of North Platte; family and a host of friends.
Memorials may be given in his name.
Memorial services will be Monday, April 26, 2010, 11 a.m., at the Nazarene Church, 801 W. First, with Pastor Emmanuel Reinbold officiating.
