Cherek, Scott engagement
Francesca Cherek and Aaron Scott, both of Anchorage, Alaska, announce their engagement and upcoming wedding.
Parents of the couple are Ben and Johannah Cherek of Panama City, Fla., Richard and Rose Scott of McCook and Susan Dishman of Fairbury. Grandparents of the bride-to-be are Etta Cherek of Omaha and Agnes Eros of Omaha. Grandparents of the prospective bridegroom are Dorothy Lambert of Trenton and Judy Dow of McCook.
The bride-to-be graduated from Blountstown High School, Blounstown, Fla., received her Bachelor's degree in criminal justice from Florida State University and her Masters of Science Management from Troy University in Alabama. She is employed as an elementary school teacher in Anchorage.
The prospective bridegroom graduated from McCook Senior High School and received his Bachelor's degree in business administration from Southwestern College Kansas. He is currently in the U.S. Airforce, a Techinical Sergeant (E-6) Avionics Instructor in Anchorage.
A June 13, 2010, wedding is planned at Panama City Beach, Fla.
