Aimee L. Harms and Mitchell W. Hazlitt, both of McCook, announce their engagement and upcoming marriage.

Parents of the couple are Sandy Harms of Hayes Center, the late Alan Harms and Monte and Mary Hazlitt of McCook. Grandparents of the bride-to-be are Ben and Joyce Neuenschwander of Culbertson, Marvin and Betty Harms of Culbertson, and Evelyn Aden of Gothenburg. Grandparents of the prospective bridegroom are Ruth Shields of McCook and Bob and Ann Hazlitt of Selden, Kan.

The bride-to-be is a graduate of Hayes Center High School and is a cosmetologist at Dream Day Spa & Salon. The prospective bridegroom is graduate of McCook High School and is a body shop technician at Wagner Ford Mercury Toyota.

A May 22, 2010, wedding is planned for 5 p.m. at Peace Lutheran Church in McCook. Reception to follow at the McCook Community Building in McCook.
