LINCOLN -- Robert L. Stuver, 86, formerly of McCook, died Tuesday (March 23, 2010).
He was born Feb. 19, 1924.
He was a World War II Navy Seebees veteran and a retired auto parts store owner.
He was a member of Christ Lutheran Church, V.F.W. No. 131, and American Legion Post No. 3.
Survivors include his wife of 66 years, Erna (Kalinski); one son, Robert of Hastings; three daughters, Linda Tracy of Lincoln, Donna and husband, Glenn Martin of Lincoln and Susan and husband, Robert Peterson of Germany; brother, James and wife, Jane Daume of Lonetree, Colo.; six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Memorial services are Monday, 2 p.m., at Madonna Rehabilitation Hospital Chapel in Lincoln, with the Rev. Stephen Cooney officiating.
Graveside services are Monday, 12:30 p.m., at Wyuka Cemetery.
Memorials to Capital Humane Society in lieu of flowers.
There will be no visitation.
