Structure fire

Red Willow Western Rural Fire Department firefighters Wendy Clark, right, and Monte Fletcher soak hot spots in the charred remains of a mobile home that burned Saturday evening. The house, owned by Frank Shadley of Texas, has been unoccupied for about 10 years, although neighbors report it's often been a "party spot" for local teens, which could also explain the cause of the fire because the house has no power or propane. The house is located south of McCook on River Road, about a quarter-mile west of the rural fire barn, on the north side of the road. The fire was discovered by passers-by and neighbors about 6 p.m.; firefighters were on the scene about three hours.

Way to go Monte. I see you are still firefighting like you did for us in Cozad!!
