LEBANON -- Glema Macy, 78, died Tuesday (Feb. 2, 2010) at Cedar Living Center in Oberlin.
She was born July 11, 1931, in Lebanon to Truman A. Gay and Clara Mildred Weatherwax. She grew up in Lebanon and Lyle, Kan., attended Hamburg Rural School and graduated from Decatur Community High School prior to attending Kearney State College.
On Dec. 18, 1949, she married Jack Marlo Macy in Atwood, Kan. She resided on a farm near Lebanon and was a school teacher.
She was a member of Lyle Methodist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Jack Macy and parents, Truman and Clara Gay.
Survivors include one son, Greg Macy and wife, Beth of Lebanon; one sister, Darlene and husband, Ray Lobato of Larkspur, Colo., and two grandchildren.
Memorial services will be Friday, 10:30 a.m., at Pauls Funeral Home in Oberlin. Interment to follow at Lebanon Cemetery.
Visitation is today at Pauls Funeral Home, 8 a.m. - 8 p.m., and Friday 8 a.m. until service time.
Memorials may be given to the Lebanon Cemetery.
