OBERLIN -- Lora Elizabeth Marietta, 22, died Monday (Dec. 21, 2009) at Sheridan County, Kan.
She was born May 28, 1987, in Oberlin, Kan., to Alan and Judith (Schreiber) Marietta. She grew up in Oberlin and attended Oberlin schools. She graduated from Decatur Community High School and was a senior at Kansas State University.
She was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church and ROTC.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Carl and Clara Schreiber; infant twin brothers, Michael and Paul; and her uncle, Mark Hasslebusch.
Survivors include her parents, Alan and Judith Marietta of Oberlin; twin brother Brett Marietta of Great Bend, Kan.; sisters, Loni and husband, Jeremy Jensen of Newton, Kan., Leah and husband, Travis Carreno of Wichita, Kan; and a niece.
Memorial services are Saturday, 2 p.m., at St. John's Lutheran Church with the Rev. Kevin Schnakenberg officiating. Interment will follow at Oberlin Cemetery.
Visitation will be Friday, 3 p.m. - 8 p.m., at Pauls Funeral Home, and Saturday 9 a.m. until service time, at the church.
Memorials may be given to the Decatur County Good Samaritan Center, or to St. John's Lutheran Church.
