Mike Long

WAUNETA -- Mike Long, 80, died Tuesday (Dec. 15, 2009), at the Good Samaritan Hospital in Kearney.

Survivors include sisters, Shirley Thacker of Torrance, Calif., Glenda Milby and husband, Donald of Hesston, Kan., Janet Solis and husband, Polo of Mexico City, Mexico; sister-in-law Violet Long of Wauneta; a niece and nephew.

Memorial services will be held Wednesday (Dec. 23, 2009), 1 p.m. at the American Legion Hall in Wauneta, with the Rev. Dennis Leitner officiating. A private family inurnment will occur at a later date.

There will be no visitation, the body was cremated.

A memorial has been established to the Wauneta Nebraska EMS.
