The building's original 300-pound marble cornerstone was removed and its copper time capsule opened in late 2008, preparing for the building's 100th anniversary. Russell G. Reno of Lincoln, Grand Master of Masons of Nebraska, and other Masonic officers participated in the rededication ceremony.
