FOUNTAIN, Colo. -- Clarence Eugene Bunnell Jr., 80, died Dec. 3, 2009, at his home in Fountain, Colo.
He was born July 20, 1919, in Hitchcock County to Clarence E. and Mabel M. Kittle Bunnell.
He was drafted into the U.S. Army in 1952 and retired after 20 years of serving his country. After leaving the Army he went to HVAC Technician school and worked for Civil Service until retiring.
On March 15, 1957, he married Rosa Konig in Benkelman.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a grandson, Jeff Bunnell; a brother, Ray. E. Bunnell; and two sisters, Wilma Hovey and Evelyn Ady.
Survivors include his wife, Rosa; two sons, David and wife, Vivian Bunnell of Flushing, Mich., and Michael and his wife, Gina Bunnell of Colorado Springs, Colo.; two daughters, Anita K. Templeton of Fountain and Renee L. and husband, Hugh Niles of Carrizozo, N.m.; two brothers, George Bunnell of Oxford and Billy Bunnell of Beverly; 14 grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.
A memorial service took place Dec. 8, at Dove-Witt Chapel in Fountain with the Rev. Duane Kincaid officiating.
