Koch, Serbousek wedding
GRAND ISLAND --Anna Elizabeth Koch and Matthew Richard Serbousek were united in marriage Aug. 1, 2009, at Peace Lutheran Church in Grand Island with Pastor Mike Reiners officiating.
Parents of the couple are Kurt and Susan Koch of Grand Island and Dr. Mark and Mary Jo Serbousek of McCook.
Leah Koch of Grand Island, sister of the bride, was maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Sarah Bohn and Abigail Lewis, both of Kearney, and Kim Serbousek of McCook. Honorary flower girl was Scarlett Mae Koch.
Best man was Nick Krysl of Stuart. Bridegroomsmen were Jimmy Blex of Syracuse, Jeff Holthus of McCook and Justin Bash of Orleans.
Ushering guests were Scott Vincent, Matthew Junge, Luke Olson, Adam Haag and Quinton Pohl.
Candle lighters were brothers of the bride, Kent and Karl Koch of Grand Island.
Host couples were Chuck and Sandy Krysl of McCook and Kent and Kacey Koch of Grand Island. Stephanie King-Witt with Photography by Stephanie was the couple's photographer.
Music was provided by organist Jeri Erickson, and vocalist, Leah Koch.
Special guests were Theresa Krysl, grandmother of the bridegroom, and Helen Koch, grandmother of the bride.
A reception at the Interstate Holiday Inn in Grand Island followed the ceremony.
The couple spent their honeymoon in Kaua'i, Hawaii.
The bride is a registered nurse employed at Banner Boswell Medical Center in Sun City, Ariz. The bridegroom is attending the College of Dental Medicine at Midwestern University in Glendale, Ariz.
They currently reside in Glendale.
