This workshop is designed to highlight cropping practices to improve energy production for sustainable production. The workshop will be presented by UNL Extension specialists and educators and cover cropping systems decisions, equipment and residue considerations, renewable energy, crop residue values, biofuels, production costs, diseases, water management, grain marketing, and current industry issues.
The Corn and Soybeans to Fuel Nebraska Conference is sponsored by University of Nebraska‚-Lincoln Extension, Farm Credit Services of America (McCook), and Frenchman Valley Coop. Lunch will be provided.
CCA credits will be available in Crop Management, Soil & Water, and Pest Management.
