LINCOLN -- Pauline D. Deines, 93, died Friday (Oct. 30, 2009), in McCook.

She was born Aug. 26, 1916, in Saginaw, Mich., and was raised by George and Marie (Weigandt) Horn.

She was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church, Eagle's Auxiliary, Senior Bowling League, A.H.S.G.R., Lutheran Women Missionary League, WSI and was a charter member of Dorcas Society. She had formerly worked at Lincoln Letter Guide Co., Goldenrod Printing Co. and Elgin Watch Co.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husbands, V. Harold Spomer and Benjamin Deines and one brother.

Survivors include her son, Stanley 'Stan' H. Spomer and wife Judy, of McCook; sisters and brothers-in-law; two grandchildren; and five great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be 10 a.m., Tuesday at Butherus, Maser & Love Funeral Home in Lincoln with the Rev. Jeffery Bloom officiating. Burial will be in Lincoln Memorial Park.

Visitation is until 9 p.m., Monday at the funeral home.
