Grandparents of the bride are Doris Herpich of Council Grove, and Everett and Hazel Zimmerman of Alta Vista. Grandparents of the bridegroom are Ed and Ruth Ruf of Wilsonville.
The bride wore a Maggie Sottero A-line gown made of Diamond White Vienna organza with a chapel length train. She carried a bouquet of dark pink and white peonies, green orchids and white stock wrapped with a locket belonging to her great-grandmother.
Serving as matron of honor was Megan Althouse, sister of the bride. Bridesmaids were Mindy Schaub, Janae Stockwell, Maggie Adams, and Jennifer Thomas. They wore chocolate brown tea length DaVinci dresses and carried bouquets similar to the brides.
The bridegroom wore a black pinstripe Ralph Lauren tux with a chocolate vest and tie.
Dustin Ketterl served as best man. Justin Williby, Brett Beinke, J.R. Reynolds, and Chase Juenemann, served as bridegroomsmen. They wore tuxes similar to the bridegroom.
Flower girl was Addison Hargitt. Candlelighters were Geri Bethel, cousin of the bridegroom and Karly Hartley, cousin of the bride. Readers were the grandparents of the bridegroom.
Jasmine Spittles was the soloist. Ushers were Logan Zimmerman, brother of the bride, Matt Easton and Travis Mayer, cousins of the bride. Sarah Smith, sister of the bridegroom, attended the guest book and Jessica Zimmerman, cousin of the bride and Stephanie Moroberg, cousin of the bridegroom, handed out programs.
A reception, dinner and dance followed the ceremony at the Ramada Inn in Hays. Servers for the reception were the bride's aunts, Janet Hartley, Connie Larson, Jill Mayer and Cindy Zimmerman. The three-tiered cake was made by Connie Larson.
The bride and bridegroom are both graduates of Fort Hays State University. The bride is a sonographer at Quinter Hospital and the bridegroom is an agronomist with CHS in Quinter.
