Corinne Eloise "Connie" Price died Tuesday, Oct. 20, 2009, at Hillcrest Nursing Home at the age of 94.

Connie was born May 3, 1915 in Carson, Iowa to Guy E. and Charlotte Frances (Pettit) Campbell. She graduated from Carson High School in 1933, and continued her education at Simpson College in Indianola, Iowa.

On Oct. 1, 1937, Connie was united in marriage to Gerald Wesley Price at Papillion. To this union three daughters were born, Judith, Sharen and Susan. In 1960, the family moved to Kearney. Connie returned to college at Kearney State Teacher's College to receive her teaching degree. She later taught at Park Elementary in Kearney and Dorchester until her retirement in 1970. In 1979, after Gerald retired, they moved to California.

She was a member of the United Methodist Church. She enjoyed playing golf, bridge, crocheting and was an avid reader. In 2004, she moved to the McCook community to be closer to her daughter when her health began to fail.

Preceding her in death were her parents, Guy and Charlotte Campbell; her husband of 61 years, Gerald Price; one sister, Jane Lorimor; and two nieces, Lisa Bunten and Jacalyn Krowartz.

Survivors include her three daughters, Judith "Judy" and husband, Stan Spomer of McCook, Sharen and husband, Dean Frazier of Lake Matthews, Calif., and Susan Price-Patterson of Fort Collins, Colo.; seven grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
