The council was to take up at the regular meeting Tuesday night the appeal from Dotti Park, of 309 East 12th, regarding the Board of Health's decision Aug. 13 that structures at 305 East 12 were hazardous and needed to be torn down.
Park asked that the appeal be continued until the Sept. 21 council meeting.
Structures on the property include a mobile home, garage and house.
The McCook city manager said at the meeting Tuesday night that staff was unclear what part of the decision Park was appealing.
According to background information, at the Board of Health meeting Aug. 13., Park agreed to work on the area and has been cleaning up the property to get rid of structures and has used city assistance in hauling off plant material.
Findings from the McCook Board of Health are due before the council at the Sept. 21 meeting.
