Vontz, Awtry engagement

Sara Lynn Vontz and Joseph Dane Awtry, both of Lincoln, announce their engagment and upcoming wedding.

Parents of the couple are Ed and Sally Vontz, formerly of McCook, now of North Platte, Donna Awtrey of North Platte and the late Dennis Awtry.

The bride-to-be is a graduate of North Platte High School and is a nurse at Madonna Rehabilitation Hospital in Lincoln.

The prospective bridegroom also is a North Platte High School graduate and is a licensed plumber with Snell Services in Lincoln.

An outdoor ceremony in North Platte is planned for Sept. 19, 2009.
