GENEVA -- Kelly Norrie and Tim Sladek were united in marriage on May 30, 2009, at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Geneva with the Rev. Mike Morin officiating.

The bride is the daughter of Shari Lovegrove and Rod and Donna Norrie, all of Geneva. The bridegroom is the son of Dean and Ann Sladek of Bartley.

Grandmother of the bride is Jean Lovegrove of Fairmont.

The bride wore a strapless ivory silk-taffeta gown with an asymmetrical waistline and a chapel length train. The gown was embellished with crystal rhinestones at the bodice and waist line. The attendants wore floor-length magenta gowns with asymmetrical waistlines.

The bride was attended by her sister, Kim Taylor, matron of honor, of Wellsville, Kan., and cousin, Dayle Taylor, maid of honor, of Geneva. Bridesmaids were Valerie Novak of Geneva, Morgan Rosenow of Elmwood, Adria Armstrong of Beatrice and Nicole Maly of Wahoo. The bride's personal attendants were Abby Domeier of Geneva, Erin Hegarty of Bellevue and Motika Laubner of Kearney.

Brett Theiler of Ogallala and Todd Downer of Bartley were the best men. Bridegroomsmen were Dan Sladek of Grand Island, brother of the bridegroom, Mark McLaughlin of Kearney, Nate Graham of Fort Worth, Texas and Toby Webb of Bartley.

Flower girls were Raelynn Minary and Lauren Sladek, nieces of the bridegroom. Jake Taylor, nephew of the bride, was the ringbearer.

Seating the guests were Matt Elder of Kearney, R.J. Gildea of Breckenridge, Colo., Adam Stotz of Omaha and brother-in-law of the bride, Aaron Taylor of Wellsville, Kan.

Ryan Hernandez and Randy Lauritsen, uncle of the bridegroom, were the lectors. Dan Kohler was the soloist.

Serving as guestbook attendants were Jenna Oestmann of Geneva and Mallory Gobel of Lincoln. Program attendants were Corey Clifford of Lincoln and Christin Lovegrove and Dan Taylor, cousins of the bride of Geneva. Gift attendants were Whitney and Sydney Lovegrove, cousins of the bride of Geneva.

The reception, dinner and dance was at Stone Creek Event Center in McCool Junction. Hosting the reception were the bride's aunts and uncles, Mike and Susie Taylor and Tom and Jodene Lovegrove. Also hosting were the bridegroom's sisters and brother-in-laws, Pam and Patrick Minary and Tom and Jackie Shoemaker, and brother and sister-in-law, Dan and Rosette Sladek.

The bride is a graduate of the University of Nebraska-Lincoln and is employed at SCORR Marketing in Kearney.

The bridegroom is a graduate of the University of Nebraska at Kearney and is employed at the State Bank of Riverdale in Riverdale.

The couple honeymooned in Montego Bay, Jamaica, and will make their home in Kearney.
