Tiffani Gamblin and Luke Dea

Tiffani Gamblin of Grand Island and Luke Dea of O'Neil announce their engagement and upcoming marriage.

Parents of the couple are Christine and Kevin Kier of Grand Island, formerly of McCook, Dave and Traci Gamblin of Green River, Wyo. and Dane and Sheila Dea of O'Neil.

Grandparents of the bride-to-be are Pat and Erwin Fredde of McCook, Rich and Margaret Kier of Grand Island, Michael Lukich of Phoeniz, Ariz. and Aleta Gamblin of Chapman.

The bride-to-be is 2003 O'Neil graduate and a 2008 graduate of the University of Nebraska with a degree in broadcast journalism. She is now working as a reporter and anchor for KOTA Territory News in Scottsbluff and also as a children's fitness instructor in Kimball.

The prospective bridegroom is a 2000 O'Neil graduate and a 2003 Dana College grad. He also graduated from the University of Nebraska with a Master's Degree in history. He is working as a social studies teacher in Kimball and coaches during football and basketball season and is the head basketball coach.

An Oct.10, 2009 wedding ceremony is planned at the Grand Manse in Lincoln. Following the wedding, the couple will make their home in Kimball.
