HOLBROOK -- Charlotte J. Gipe, 58, died Sunday (July 26, 2009), at her home in Holbrook.

She was Oct. 12, 1950, at Sterling, Colo., to Marvin and Betty (Innis) Brown. The family moved to Arapahoe where she attended school.

On Oct. 22, 1967, she married to Leonard "Sonny" Gipe Jr. in Arapahoe. She was a homemaker.

She was preceded in death by her parents; two grandsons, Jeremy Simmons and recently Ronnie Junior Bray.

Survivors include her husband, "Sonny" of Holbrook; three daughters, Christy and husband, Larry Bibbey of Minden, Heather and husband, Ronald Bray of Holdrege, and Robin and husband, Mike Sieja Jr. of Edison; one son, Terry and wife Sue Ann Gipe of Kearney; three sisters, Twila and husband, Bob Brown of Dublin, Ga., Delia Brown of Holdrege, and Kathy and husband, Dave Townsend of Peyson, Ariz.; one brother, Wayne Brown of Hastings; nine grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

Funeral services will be 2 p.m., Thursday at the Holcomb Evangelical Free Church north of Holdrege with the Rev. Todd Marcy officiating. Interment will be in the Adullam Cemetery.

Visitation is today until 9 p.m.

Memorials may be left at the Lockenour-Jones Mortuary in Cambridge.
