Nelms, Jensen engagement

Kelli L. Nelms and Justin T. Jensen, both of North Platte, announce their engagement and upcoming wedding.

Parents of the couple are Dann and Sue Nelms of Benkelman and Jerry and Gail Jensen of North Platte.

Grandparents are Richard and Yvonna Hayes of Cambridge and Don and Shirley Nelms of McCook.

The bride-to-be is a 2006 graduate of Dundy County High School. She earned her Associate's degree in business technology at Mid Plains Community College in 2008. She is employed at the University of Nebraska West Central Research and Extension Center as a research technician assistant and at First Evangelical Lutheran Church as the youth coordinator.

The prospective bridegroom is a 2004 graduate of North Platte High School. He earned his Bachelor's degree in agronomy from the University of Nebraska -Lincoln in 2009. He is employed at All Point Cooperative as an agronomist.

The couple is planning an Oct. 10, 2009, wedding at the First Evangelical Lutheran Church in North Platte.
