The parents of the bride are Cindy and Earl Roberts of McCook. Grandparents are Earl and Marian Roberts from McCook, Earl Maxon from Golden, Colo., and Eleanor Maxon from Lakewood, Colo. The parents of the prospective groom are Brenda and Bill Murray of Fayetteville, N.C., and Dennis and Peggy Lindsay of Council Bluffs, Iowa.

The bride-to-be is a teacher for McCook Public Schools. The prospective bridegroom is an engineer for Union Pacific railroad and works for Peter's Farm.

The couple is planning a July 18 wedding at St. Patrick's Church in McCook.
