CAMBRIDGE -- Betty Lou Hyde, 82, died Thursday (June 25, 2009), at Cambridge Memorial Hospital.
She was born April 6, 1927, at Neoga, Ill., to Fred and Eva Jane Scoles.
She was a homemaker.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a brother; a sister; one grandchild; and two great-grandchildren.
Survivors include her two sons, William "Bill" and wife, Pam Kruger of Cambridge, Albert "Bud" and wife, Roberta Kruger, also of Cambridge; five daughters, Betty "Tootie" and husband, Dave Denton of Wilsonville, Alberta Hannah and husband, Bill of Cambridge, Cindy Knifley of Cambridge, Annette and husband, Bill Newcomb of Papillion, and Patti and husband, Sean Adler of Cambridge; 22 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren; and 24 great-great-grandchildren.
Memorial services will be Friday, 3 p.m., at Lockenour-Jones Mortuary with the Rev. Brian Perry officiating. Inurnment will take place at a later date at Fairlawn Cemetery in Vandalia, Ill.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Cambridge Manor or the Assisted Living Facility.
