SUN CITY, Ariz. -- Berwin "Jack" McNeice, died June 12, 2009, at his home in Sun City, Ariz.

He was born Sept. 2, 1920, and was a long time resident of Culbertson and McCook. He and his wife, Berniece moved to Sun City in 1982.

He was a Tech Sgt., in the U.S. Army and upon his return home, was employed by the Bureau of Reclamation. He retired from that position at the Pueblo, Colo., office in 1975. During his retirement he became an enthusiastic golfer and four times achieved a "hole-in-one."

Jack is survived by his wife of 66 1/2 years Berniece, his son, Barry, wife, Sharon and daughter, Lauren. Survivors also include three sisters, Eileen Moore of McCook, Mavis Peterson of Kearney and Jesslyn Stubbs of Culbertson, as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him. Jack's health problems over the last year included diabetes, cancer and kidney failure.

A memorial service will be Friday, June 26, 2009, at 2 p.m., at American Lutheran Church in Sun City.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be sent to the organization of donor's choice.
