Dave and Cherry Carlson of Yankton, S.D., announce the birth of a son, Micah David Carlson. He was born May 21, 2009, weighing 8 pounds, 14 ounces and measuring 22 inches in length. He has a brother, Ethan. His grandparents are Darrell and Pam Daum of Murdo, S.D., and Stan and Gwen Carlson of Rochester, Minn. Great-grandparents are Ed and Evelyn Daum of Murdo, Paul and Delores Schneider of McCook, Gordon and Eleanor Carlson of Sioux Falls, S.D., and Wendell Carlson.
