Parents of the couple are Neil and Janice Jensen of Columbus, Leah McCune of Benkelman and the late Dwight McCune.

The prospective bridegroom is Chief Deputy for Dundy County. The bride-to-be is a seamstress.

A May 23, 2009, ceremony is planned in Fullerton. The couple will reside in Benkelman.
