BEAVER CITY -- Tasha Christine Pike, 15, of Keyes, Okla., died Thursday (April 30, 2009) at Morton County Hospital in Elkhart, Kan.

She was born July 26, 1993, at Cambridge to Jay and Kelley (Tomlinson) Pike. The family lived north of Arapahoe for a year and moved to North Carolina for 2 1/2 years. The family then moved to Keyes in 1999. She was a sophomore at Yarbrough High School at Goodwell, Okla. She suffered from Retts Syndrome.

She was preceded in death by her brother, Shane Miller on May 19, 2005, grandmother, Judy Moore and great-grandparents, Richard and Christine Weaver.

Survivors include her father, Jay Pike of Stockville; mother, Kelley Pike of Keyes; brother, Kenneth Pike of Keyes; sister, Ashley Pike of Keyes; and grandparents, Steve and Linda Tomlinson of Beaver City, Jerry Pike of Curtis and Al Moore of Farnam.

Funeral services will be Saturday, 2 p.m., at First United Methodist Church in Beaver City with Lay Pastor Bill Weaver officiating. Burial will follow at Mount Hope Cemetery at Beaver City.

Viewing and visitation is today until 8 p.m., at Wenburg Funeral Home in Beaver City and prior to services at the church on Saturday.
