Maywood woman buys $54,000 ticket in McCook store

Lincoln -- Michelle Wood of Maywood recently won $54,000 playing Nebraska Pick 5 from the Nebraska Lottery.

There were more than 5,000 Nebraska Lottery winners in the Thursday, April 2, drawings. Among these winners was Wood, who purchased a four-play Nebraska Pick 5 ticket at Kabredlo's, 204 West B Street in McCook. One play on the ticket contained all five of the winning numbers (20, 22, 34, 37, 31) from the April 2 drawing for the $54,000 jackpot.

One hundred and seventy-one Nebraska Lottery players have won the Nebraska Pick 5 jackpot to date.
