SUN CITY WEST, Ariz. -- Carl Stanley Mohr, 64, of Sun City West, Ariz., passed away April 14, 2009, in Surprise, Ariz.

Stan was born Feb. 12, 1945, in McCook to Carl and Doris (Cox) Mohr. He grew up in McCook and graduated in 1964. He attended barber school in Omaha, Neb., and graduated in May 1965, returning to McCook to barber from 1965-2001.

Stan married Georgia Damratowski on July 25, 1965, in Loup City, Neb. They live in McCook until 2001, when they moved to Sun City West.

Stan is survived by his wife, Georgia of Sun City West; father, Carl of McCook; sister, Mary Lee Corey and husband, Neal of McCook; five nephews; and three nieces.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Doris Mohr and niece Carrie Corey.

Stan was a member of the Nebraska and Arizona Allante Clubs, BPOE Elks Club, Rotary and the Nebraska National Guard Reserve.

He had a love for cars and golf and enjoyed fishing and boating. He had many talents and was a jack of all trades.

In lieu of flowers, remembrances in Stan's name may be given to Hospice of Arizona.

Memorial services will be at 10:30 a.m., Saturday, May 2, 2009, at First Congregational Church in McCook with the Rev. Steve Bales officiating. Inurnment will be in Memorial Park Cemetery in McCook

Friends may sign his register during regular business hours at Herrmann Funeral Home in McCook.
