LEXINGTON -- Diann D. Colson, 57, died Saturday (April 18, 2009) at Tri-County Hospital in Lexington.
She was born April 25, 1951, at Lewistown, Mont., to Ira and Almira (Warren) Drake. She grew up in Montana and graduated from Hardin High School in Hardin, Mont., in 1969. She attended Business College in Billings, Mont.
She married Jerry Colson on April 29, 1972, in Hardin. They later divorced.
In 1972, the family moved to Cambridge, where she spent 33 years at the Cambridge Co-op as the office manager. Her health forced her to retire and she moved to Lexington to be near family in September of 2007.
She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.
She was preceded in death by her parents and one sister, Dixie.
Survivors include her sons, Shawn and Candace Colson of Afton, Iowa and Damon and friend, Susie McCoslin of Murphy, Texas; one brother, Dale Drake of Hardin; one sister, Don and Dawn Landis of Lexington; five grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews and great-great-nieces and nephews.
Funeral Services will be Wednesday at 10:30 a.m., at Reynolds-Love Funeral Chapel in Lexington with the Bishop Tom Ward officiating. Graveside Services will be Friday at 10 a.m. at Fairview Cemetery in Hardin.
