Dorothy Jane Sager

BIRD CITY --Dorothy Jane (McDougal) Sager, 86, Sunday (March 15, 2009) in Bird City.

She was born April 10, 1922, in Thomas County, Kan.

She married Robert Warren Sager and worked as a Registered Nurse and homemaker.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert in 2002.

Survivors include her sons, Hal Sager and Doug Sager, both of Bird City; R. Warren Sager of Lacrosse, Kan., Fred Sager and Alan Sager, both of Colby, Kan., and Wayne Sager of Salina, Kan.; daughters, Janet Siegfried of St. Francis and Janey Sager of Bird City; sister, Jean Kersten of Moore, Okla.; 14 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.

Memorial graveside services will be Saturday, 11 a.m. (CT) in the Bird City Cemetery.

There is no visitation, her body was cremated. Her book may signed Friday from 12 - 4 p.m., at Knodel Funeral Home in St. Francis.

Memorials may be given to the Cheyenne County EMTs, Cheyenne County Hospital or American Cancer Society.
