BIRD CITY -- Emilie Sophia "Millie" (Kroeger) Rambat, 91, died Tuesday (March 17, 2009) at Good Samaritan Village in St. Francis.

She was born Jan. 4, 1918, in Republic County, Kan.

She married Harvey Rambat and she was a homemaker. She lived in Bird City until moving to Good Samaritan Village.

She was preceded in death by her husband,Harvey in 1983 and son, Larry Rambat in 1976.

Survivors include her son, Royce Rambat of Bird City; sister, Betty Childers of Bird City; three grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

Memorial graveside services will be Sunday, 2 p.m. (CT) in the Bird City Cemetery.

There is no visitation, her body was cremated. Her book may be signed Saturday from 12 - 4 p.m., at the Knodel Funeral Home in St. Francis.

Memorials may be given in her name.
