Chase County Fair books 38 Special, Little Big Town for August

IMPERIAL -- The Chase County Fair in Imperial has booked the rock band, "38 Special" and the country band, "Little Big Town," to play at the 2009 county fair.

38 Special -- whose hits include "Hold on Loosely" and "Caught up in You" -- will play Friday, Aug. 14. Little Big Town -- known for "Boondocks" and "Bring It On Home" -- performs Saturday, Aug. 15.

Dan Kunnemann, the fair board's entertainment chairman, told the Imperial Republican newspaper that both groups carry large fan bases. He expects great shows from both.

  • We have always wanted to come to the Chase County Fair and it looks like this year we will make it. Is there a camping grounds in Imperial, If not where would we be able to camp other than the lake.
