Wauneta-Palisade girls blast Crawford

SIDNEY -- Blair Dixon scored 16 points to lead the Wauneta-Palisade girls basketball team past Crawford 58-29 in the Class D1-12 sub-district semifinal Tuesday.

Tia Simpson and Bethany Riener both scored 12 points.

Wauneta-Palisade will take on Hitchcock County (12-10) Thursday for the D1-12 championship.

The Broncos and Falcons have played twice this season. Wauneta-Palisade won both games 43-23 and 56-27.
