Sabrina Davis of McCook and Josh Oltmans of Nelson were united in marriage on Nov. 1, 2008 at United Methodist Church in McCook with the Rev. Dr. Jeff Thurman officiating.

Parents of the couple are Bill and Paula Davis of McCook and Jim and Terri Oltmans of Nelson.

The bride's grandparents are Bill and Gwen Davis of Trenton and Ken and Stannis Spencer of McCook. Grandparents of the bridegroom are Elaine Oltmans and Donna Gillan, both of Nelson.

Kelli Cornell, sister of the bride, of North Platte, was the maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Jordann Hoyt of Glenrock, Wyo., Katie Davis, sister-in-law of the bride, of Lincoln, Jessica Blair of Austin, Texas, Breanna Anderson of Akron, Colo., and Melody Schmidt of Omaha.

Kyle Kassebaum of Lincoln served as best man. Bridegroomsmen were Doug Wehrman of Omaha, Phil Macke of Cambridge, Kirk Peterson of Lincoln, Ryne Valerio of Peralta, N.M., and Shane Cochran of Lincoln.

Ushers were Anthony Davis, brother of the bride, of Lincoln, Don Cornell, brother-in-law of the bride, of North Platte, Austin Oltmans, brother of the bridegroom, of Omaha and Brady Oltmans, brother of the bridegroom, of Nelson.

Christner String Trio of McCook was in charge of the music.

A reception was at the Republican River Valley Event Center in McCook. Jessica Shelburn, cousin of the bridegroom, of Lincoln and Jami Kassebaum of Lincoln were the guestbook attendants.

Host couples were Jeremy and Jennifer Jorgensen of Lincoln.

The bride received her Associate of Arts degree from McCook Community College in May 2005 and will graduate with her Bachelor of Arts degree in elementary education with middle school math and language arts endorsements from Doane College in December of 2009.

The bridegroom received his Bachelor of Arts degree in a business Administration with an emphasis in management and a minor in communications from Dakota Wesleyan University in May 2007. He is employed as an admission counselor and assistant baseball coach at Doane College in Crete.

After a honeymoon in Treasure Island, Fla., the couple will reside in Crete.
