Bellamy, Haag engagement

Klarissa Bellamy, formerly of Grand Island and Joe Haag, formerly of McCook, of Kearney announce their engagement and upcoming marriage.

Parents of the couple are John and Bonnie Bellamy of Cairo and Stephen and Shari Haag of McCook.

The bride-to-be graduated from Grand Island Central Catholic High School and is a December 2008 graduate of the University Nebraska at Kearney with a Bachelor of Science in journalism and public relations with a minor in marketing. She is employed with US Bank.

The prospective bridegroom is a 2002 McCook Senior High graduate. He is attending the University Nebraska at Kearney pursuing a Bachelor of Science in business administration with a minor in marketing. He is also a member of the Nebraska National Guard since 2001 and a veteran of Operation Iraqi Freedom.

A Feb. 21, 2009, ceremony is planned at Blessed Sacrament in Grand Island.
