Thayer, Montoya engagement

Karen Thayer and John C. Montoya, both of Hutchinson, Kan., announce their engagement and upcoming wedding. The mother of the bride-to-be is Donna Thayer of Arapahoe.

The bride-to-be is a family and consumer science teacher at Hutchinson High School.

The prospective bridegroom is employed at the Hutchinson Correctional Facility.

A March 8, 2009, ceremony is planned at The Father's House in Hutchinson.
