HASTINGS -- The Hastings College women's basketball team had a bit of a chip on their shoulder en route to its 76-73 upset win over No. 4 College of the Ozarks Monday night at the Lynn Farrell Arena.

College of the Ozarks knocked out the Broncos in last years national semifinal in double overtime.

Hastings, currently ranked No. 12 in the latest NAIA national poll, erased a 14-point deficit in the first half to knock off the Bobcats and avenge last year's loss.

Hastings was led by Lindsay Ducey with 26 points and 10 rebounds. Ducey was also 8 of 8 from the free throw line and 8 of 16 from the floor.

Also in double figures for the Lady Broncos was Rachel Isherwood with 14 points and 3 steals.

Hastings was near perfect down the stretch from the free throw line as the Broncos were 12 of 13 in the second half and 19 of 23 for the game.

Kim Faimon led the Broncos with 6 assists.

Hastings is now 13-4 on the season and will match up with No. 1 Morningside College on Saturday in Sioux City, Iowa with tip off set for 2 p.m.
