Lexington rolls past McCook sophomore boys

LEXINGTON -- The McCook Sophomore boy's basketball team fell to the Lexington Minutemen 62-31 Thursday night at Lexington.

The Minutemen jumped out to an 18-4 lead at the end of the first quarter and never looked back. Lexington scored 26 points in the final period and was fueled by Pat Berke's 21 points.

Drew Shields led the Bison with 10 points. Keith Wallace and Ryan Powell each added 6 points.

The McCook sophomore boys (0-2) will be back in action at McCook Senior High School at 8 p.m. Tuesday against the Chase County Longhorns.
