Lillian was born June 17, 1915, to Nels and Sine (Holtze) Lang at their farm south of Wilsonville. Lillian attended Good Hope School through the eighth grade and graduated from Wilsonville High School in 1934. Some of Lillian's fondest memories were of the traveling missionaries who stayed at their home when she was a child.

As a youth, Lillian accepted Jesus as her Lord and Savior through the ministry of the American Sunday School Union. Lillian later became a member of the Wilsonville Methodist Church where she remained active throughout all of her adult years.

Lillian took Normal Training in high school and taught rural school in the Wilsonville area for six years. She loved teaching children and never tired of talking about her former students.

Lillian was united in marriage to Glenn Lemaster on July 21, 1940. To this union five children were born, Lula Carole, Lilly Marie, Patricia Sue, Jeffery Allen and Pamela Sue. Patty and Jeffery went to be with Jesus as infants.

Lillian was a loving wife and mother, helping on the family farm and rearing her children. At church she taught Sunday School and youth groups and was active in the United Methodist Women.

Lillian returned to public school teaching as a first grade teacher in Beaver City. In 1970, while teaching at Beaver City, she completed her degree from Kearney State Teacher's College. She taught nine years then retired and assisted her daughter as a preschool teacher in McCook for several years.

Lillian enjoyed being a member of the IHO Club.

Glenn preceded her to heaven on Nov. 24, 1990. Lillian remained on the family farm until she moved to Heritage Plaza in Cambridge in 2004. She enjoyed residing at the Plaza until a stroke in April 2008 resulted in a move to the Cambridge Manor.

Lillian loved spending time with her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
