Kerr, Ruiz engagement

LINCOLN -- Andrea M. Kerr and Christopher J. Ruiz, both of Lincoln, announce their engagement and upcoming marriage.

Parents of the couple are Wendy and Leon Lovitt and Rich and Becky Kerr, all of Beatrice and Joe and Tracey (Marr) Ruiz of Lincoln.

The prospective bridegroom is the grandson of Stan and Sharon Marr of McCook.

The bride-to-be is employed at Child & Family Services in Lincoln as a mental health therapist. The prospective bridegroom is employed as a supervisor/manager of Old Chicago Restaurant in Lincoln.

A Dec. 6, 2008, wedding is planned at Christ United Methodist Church in Lincoln, followed by a reception at the Cornhusker Hotel in Lincoln.
