HERNDON -- Helen L. Ketterl Kogl Kleidosty, 91, died Saturday (Oct. 18, 2008) at Rawlins County Health Center.

She was born Nov. 8, 1916, to Louis and Katherine (Lippold) Ketterl in Pocasset, Okla. The family moved to a farm Northeast of Herndon and she attended Green Valley Rural School and St. Mary's High School. She went on to become a teacher in the rural Herndon area.

On Sept. 12, 1940, she married Math Kogl. They lived on the family farm until 1973, when they moved to Atwood. He preceded her in death on Aug. 23, 1983.

In 1991, she married Matt Kleidosty in Glendale, Calif. He died on Oct. 23, 1992.

In February of 2007, she moved to the Good Samaritan Home in Atwood.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husbands, Math Kogl and Matt Kleidosty; one sister; seven sisters-in-law; three brothers; eight brothers-in-law; and one son-in-law.

Survivors include her daughter, Mariana and husband, Jerry Thomas of Colby, Kan.; son, Don of Atwood; six grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; and other relatives and friends.

A Mass of Christian Burial was today at Sacred Heart Catholic Church with the Rev. Daniel Scheetz officiating. Interment was in St. Mary's Cemetery at Herndon.

Memorials may be given to the Rawlins County Health Center and the St. Mary's Assumption Catholic Church in Herndon.
