BARTLEY -- Esther A. Cram, 95, died Aug. 28, 2008, at American Lutheran Nursing Home in Mapleton, Wis.

She was born near Bartley on Nov. 19, 1912, to August and Mary Zeller. She was raised near Bartley.

She met and married Joseph Quaintance and lived north of Bartley. He preceded her in death in 1957.

She moved to Grandview, Wash., and worked for Libby Foods for 17 years. In 1990, she moved to Wisconsin to live with her daughter, Joyce.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husbands, John Feil, Sr., Leon Cram and Joseph Quaintance; a daughter, Joyce and her husband, George Swearingen; grandson, Rodney Carter; and two great-grandchildren, Robert Hodges and Madison Smith.

Survivors include her one son, Roger and wife, Delta Quaintance of Nebraska; two daughters, Sharon and husband, Larry Pelkey of Maine and Patricia and husband, Larry Elliott of California; one step-son, John Feil of Washington; one brother, Elmer and wife, Wilma Zeller of Bartley; one sister, Helen and husband, Lewis McCreath of Nebraska; 15 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren; and 14 great-great-grandchildren.

Graveside inurnment will be Friday at 1 p.m., at the Bartley Cemetery .
