MHS homecoming royalty candidates

Candidates for McCook Senior High's homecoming 2008 royalty gather for a photograph. The school's queen and king and their attendants will be selected from a slate that includes: (front row, from left): Olivia Walter, daughter of Tim and Brenda Walter; and Molly Peck, daughter of Bill and Emily Peck. Second row: Hanah Swanhorst, daughter of Curt and Cindy Swanhorst; Joanna Bryant, daughter of Steve and Cathy Bryant; Kali Lyons, daughter of Chad and Kim Lyons; Tara Powell, daughter of Tammy and Michael Powell; and Bailey Lauer, daughter of Ron and Deb Lauer. Back row: Kyle Harms, son of Garry Harms; Ryan Hardin, son of Ben and Susan Hardin; Austin Larson, son of Greg and Cindy Larson; Stephen Smock, son of Ree Smock; Aaron Ruppert, son of Andy and Peggy Ruppert; John Huffman, son of Jim and Ann Huffman; and Michael Grabowski, son of Linda Grabowski. The royalty will be revealed after the MHS-Lexington football game scheduled at 7 p.m., Friday, at Weiland Field in McCook. The homecoming dance will follow, from 10 p.m. until 1 p.m., in the 4-H Building on the Red Willow County fairgrounds in McCook.

I would really like to see the royalty dress up a little more than just jeans. and have a special place in the stands for them to sit.
